The Wildflower Fiber Retreat Committee decided 15 years ago to gather all our spinning friends and spend a weekend knitting, spinning, dyeing and having a good time!
The idea took off, and has become a springtime tradition. As the retreat grew, so did our friendships, knowledge, creativity and desire to ensure that traditional methods were passed on to the next generation.
In addition, we sponsor a Wildflower Knitting Camp held in August.

TRINITY RIDGE ALPACAS OPEN FARM DAY is held the fourth Saturday of each month at Janet Hancock's Trinity Ridge Farm near Kemp TX. Bring a dish and your current fiber art project. As part of our efforts to promote fiber arts in the community, we sponsor the well known Wildflower Fiber Retreat at Camp Tyler in March of each year.In addition, we sponsor a Wildflower Knitting Camp held in August.
