Wildflower Fiber Retreat at Camp Tyler, Tyler Texas

The Wildflower Fiber Retreat (WFR) has been held for the last 15 years to gather our spinning friends and spend a weekend knitting, spinning, and having a good time!

The springtime tradition has grown, as have our friendships, knowledge, creativity and desire to ensure that traditional methods are passed on to the next generation.

On March 15 - 17, 2013, the Wildflower Fiber Retreat celebrated native American textile traditions with workshops and offerings focusing on wool and cotton, spinning and weaving. The theme was Walk In Beauty.
